Our History
Management Concepts, Inc. was incorporated in December of 1986 by Founding Partner Charlene Barbour for the purpose of offering a quality resource for professional management to associations, societies, commission, foundations, and licensing boards.
Since 1986, we have provided professional management for more than thirty entities. These clients have experienced growth and stability through good sound professional management.
Our own continuous positive growth helps us serve as a partner in representing clients who choose MCi for professional management. Our philosophy is that each client deserves and receives individual attention. We place the highest priority on serving our clients’ needs and promoting their success.
In April of 2010, Charlene’s son Shaun accepted the position of President & CEO of MCi to carry on the legacy. Charlene still remains active with MCi and serves a a trusted advisor to both the staff and our clients.
